Asou Yuna looked puzzled as she asked Seele.
"Go save someone... or rather, a god."
"Save a god?"
Asou Yuna paused slightly, but her feet did not stop.
When Iki Hiyori arrived at their destination with Seele and Asou Yuna, they found the area ahead packed with bizarre monsters and evil spirits.
By rough estimate, there were nearly a hundred of them, and evil spirits continued arriving from elsewhere to join them. Their target was a young man wielding a silver katana with a white cloth handguard.
The man wore a black tracksuit jacket and a white scarf around his neck. He looked decent enough, though he gave off a somewhat frivolous impression.
"Yato..."
Seeing the man, Seele recognized him without needing Iki Hiyori to introduce him.
"So many evil spirits... Why have so many monster spirits gathered here?" Asou Yuna looked at the densely packed spirits ahead. Even if none of them were especially powerful, that god would probably still be killing them one by one until tomorrow without finishing them all.
But why had so many monsters gathered here? Was it really just because of that god?
"Yuna, protect yourself and Hiyori. Leave the monsters ahead to me!"
Looking at those evil spirits, Seele finally understood why the monster spirits from the surrounding city had gathered here. However... someone had probably orchestrated this, all for Yato.
If she intervened, the person behind this would probably resent her.
But it did not matter...
Seele gripped Nursery Rhyme with both hands and walked forward. At the same time, her outfit changed in an instant.
"Toyoashihara no Nakatsukuni, all those who cause disorder here, submit to the might of Yukine and be rid of every filthy obstacle—Slash!"
Just as Seele was about to enter the battlefield, Yato seemed to
