After leaving the bathroom, Seele did not say another word to her other self. She climbed straight into bed and burrowed beneath the covers.
"Seele, are you mad at me?"
Seeing Seele's actions, Black Seele's cheerful smile faded as she looked at her with a hint of concern.
"No..."
Seele replied expressionlessly, not looking at her at all.
"Really? Are you sure you're not angry?"
Black Seele turned off the room's lights, leaving only the bedside lamp glowing faintly gold, then slipped under the covers as well.
Seeing that Seele seemed a little angry, Black Seele could not help feeling slightly guilty. She had not done anything too excessive to Seele—she had merely frightened her a little.
"I'm really not! Seele... isn't angry."
Seele looked seriously at her other self.
"That's good..."
Black Seele shared Seele's thoughts, and only relaxed after confirming that she truly was not angry.
She could share everything with Seele, but out of respect for her, she normally would not share Seele's thoughts or anything like that.
Having confirmed that Seele was not angry, Black Seele could not help growing bolder again. She moved close and wrapped both arms around Seele's waist.
"What are you doing?"
Black Seele's actions made Seele tense up once more.
"Nothing... Just like this. Let's sleep!"
The next day, sunlight entered through the window. Passing over the layered buildings, the first rays of morning spread out like silk, flowing through the dawn and filling the air with clear, captivating light.
The morning sun shone into the bedroom. Both Seeles on the bed were sleeping soundly, facing the same direction. Seele's head rested on the pillow as she breathed softly, her lips curving as though she were having some kind of dream. Her long eyelashes rose and fell with each breath,
