"Whether she was the mastermind was still unclear. We needed to investigate in person. When were you free?"
Suzuki Yukiko shook her head, clearly not very certain either.
"We're free anytime."
"Alright... then we'll go today. The strange incidents at Core Cliff all happened after six in the evening. I need to go back and prepare first. Let's meet at the tram station!"
Once she confirmed there were no other issues, Suzuki Yukiko immediately set the time and place.
"Sure!"
Seele had no objections.
"Then see you later."
Suzuki Yukiko seemed a little excited. If Seele and the other two had not appeared unexpectedly, she probably would not have planned to leave today.
"See you later!"
After Suzuki Yukiko turned and left the maid café, Seele finished her second cup of black tea and prepared to leave as well. It was somewhat different from what she had imagined, but at least it was a good start.
Just as Seele was about to leave, the shopkeeper behind the counter suddenly raised her head and cautioned her, "I don't know why you insist on going there, but be careful... the situation there is rather complicated. It's not something that can be handled by dealing with a few Onmyoji or whatever."
"Hm? Do you know something else, shopkeeper?"
Hearing the shopkeeper's words, Seele stopped. It felt as though the shopkeeper knew something more.
"Just be careful!"
Looking into Seele's big eyes, the shopkeeper opened her mouth... but in the end, she merely sighed.

Seeing how troubled the shopkeeper looked, Seele thought it over and did not press her for answers.
No matter how terrifying it was... could it compare to making enemies of the gods?
