"This platform should be an elevator..."
Looking at the circular platform before her, Bronya suddenly thought of something... her tone carrying a trace of certainty.
"An elevator?"
"Mm."
Bronya nodded firmly. With a distance of several hundred meters underground, relying on walking instead of an elevator was unreliable no matter how she thought about it!
"But even if this is an elevator, there's no power in all of Kyoto right now, and the factory doesn't have power either. Can this elevator still work?"
Looking at the elevator before them, it was completely different from an ordinary elevator. It was simply a small platform, without doors or anything... and there was no indication that it could still operate.
"We'll know if we try. There may be an energy source powering the base below."
Without thinking much about it, Bronya walked directly onto the elevator platform. Seeing this, Seele hurriedly followed her.

At a depth of over two hundred meters, the elevator descended for several minutes before finally stopping. The entire process felt somewhat like an amusement park space shuttle ride, only without seat belts or seats.
"All right, we're here!"
