Looking at the boy before her, Rita's wine-red eyes held a trace of curiosity and understanding. No wonder there were hardly any people here—this was something like a barrier or a domain.
Ordinary people simply couldn't enter this place, but she had stumbled into this domain by chance... Rita roughly understood why she hadn't seen anyone or any vehicles earlier.
Still, Rita was a little curious about the current situation—and about who this boy was.

He raised his bloody hand and licked the blood. The pupil in his left eye turned red.

He raised his head and stared at Rita. As he muttered the words, his body vanished instantly... The next moment, he appeared directly before her, his monster-like claws stabbing toward her chest. He seemed intent on dealing with Rita the same way he had dealt with the previous person.
