The student Shixia called on hurriedly gave up her seat for Rita. Far from being unhappy, she was delighted. First, she had not really wanted to sit with this "genius" anyway. Second... for some reason, she felt a little drawn to Rita, even though they were both girls.
"Thank you!"
Rita politely thanked the girl named Eita. Eita looked incredibly flattered, making Rita once again deeply aware of her own charm. As expected, she was irresistible to both men and women!
This damned... nowhere-to-put charm of mine!!

Though... if Lady Durandal did not mind, then perhaps it would not be...
"Shiro, starting now, we're classmates again."
After putting her textbooks into the desk, Rita turned and smiled at Shiina Mashiro beside her.
"Rita..."
She responded like a kitten. Although she did not show it openly, the happiness in Shiro's eyes was obvious.
After Teacher Shixia introduced Rita, he turned and left. Rita and Shiina Mashiro chatted briefly... and then class immediately began.

The standard Japanese high school curriculum was somewhat similar to Shenzhou's university system: subjects plus courses—required, elective required, and free electives. Japanese high schools followed both a credit system and an academic-year system. Each class period lasted fifty minutes, and thirty-five class periods counted as one credit. Students had to complete the credits required by the school in order to graduate.
Although this was an art program, they still had to study the compulsory core subjects of the general curriculum. The focus was merely on art; it was impossible for there to be no other classes besides art.
