Rita had stayed up all night working on it yesterday. The storyboard, outline, and opening were all ready; only the character design sheets had been missing. Now that those were done too... it was time to hand everything over to Shiina Mashiro.
Although this Oreimo adaptation was not completely identical to the original, it was more or less the same, aside from the names...
Sekigoryu, Jibansuke Kyosuke, Jibansuke Kirino, Tamura Manako... The changed names felt a little ridiculous, but whatever. Who cared?
Taking the things in her hands, Rita left her room. When she reached the living room again, she looked at the empty teacup beside her and paused to think... Then she set down what she was carrying, took out a fresh cup, and brewed another cup of black tea.
Holding the tea in one hand and the prepared sketches and outline in the other, she walked to Shiina Mashiro's door. Seeing that it was not even shut, she went straight in.
Inside, Shiina Mashiro was lying on the bed in nothing but panties, drawing something with intense concentration. It was probably Pet Girl, the manga she was preparing to create. But looking at the pile of discarded drafts beside the bed, it seemed her little pet had run into some trouble.

"Shiro, stop for a moment... I made you some black tea." Rita set the sketches aside and approached Shiina Mashiro with the tea, but Shiina Mashiro did not react. She just kept drawing... then tossed the page away in dissatisfaction.
Seeing Shiina Mashiro's state, Rita placed the tea on the computer desk beside them and picked up the discarded drafts from the floor. As expected... they were drawn beautifully. At least, Rita could not see anything wrong with them.
