After a long period of training, the Miko bid farewell to the shrine where she had lived and began traveling everywhere, constantly spreading the faith of the deity who had once given her hope.
At last, through the Miko's tireless efforts, a shrine was established: Jade Hairpin Shrine. The Guardian God moved in as its chief deity. Since he possessed the power to control the weather, he became the god who governed summer.
People came in an endless stream to pray for favorable weather and abundant harvests. From the first Miko onward, the Guardian God protected the shrine, watching generations of Miko take up the role and depart, his days peaceful and uneventful.
Until he encountered an extraordinary generation of Miko and, for certain special reasons, developed some special feelings for her.
