The slightly chilled liquor entered Himeko's mouth. Perhaps because of this body, she found herself especially fond of alcohol.
Aside from Honkai, age, and men, alcohol was another topic Himeko could never avoid. From Himeko in the manga's opening, wearing an evening gown and holding champagne, to Himeko before the final battle, clad in the Key of Blankness and leaning against the railing outside the infirmary where the wounded came and went, murmuring that she wanted one more drink—alcohol had accompanied Himeko throughout her career as a Valkyrie.
Especially that line before her final battle with the Herrscher of the Void: "I really want... another drink."
Unlike those low-alcohol cocktails, this drink went down very smoothly, especially in this snowy winter.
"Beautiful miss, are you here alone?"
As Himeko quietly savored her drink, a fairly handsome man with well-defined features approached the bar beside her, holding a wineglass filled with alcohol. As he spoke, he raised his glass in greeting.
"I suppose so..."
She politely clinked glasses with him. Himeko swept her alluring gaze over him and replied indifferently. It was obvious she had no interest in him.
"Haruto."
Seeing Himeko's reaction, the man did not get angry. Instead, he called out to the bartender, clearly familiar with him.
"Mr. Nishio, what can I do for you?"
The bartender wiped down the mixing tools in his hands as he respectfully asked him.
"There should still be a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon red wine that I left here, right? Make this madam another Cabernet Fragrance..."
His tone was polite and
