"Big Sister, that tall thing up ahead is our destination, right?"
Not long after, Hiyamaru suddenly asked Himeko.
Hearing that, Himeko looked ahead and saw an enormous tower in the distance... so tall that it was scarcely any shorter than the surrounding mountains.
"That's right, that's the Tower of Babylon!"
Looking at the massive tower ahead, Himeko examined it carefully and was basically able to confirm that it was her destination.
Although Himeko had never actually been here before and had only flown past it earlier, there was nothing else in all of Siberia that matched the Tower of Babylon's characteristics so well.
Especially since it bore a very obvious Schicksal emblem. A little thought was enough to confirm it.
"Then I'm going to start descending!"
Upon hearing Himeko's confirmation, Hiyamaru slowed down considerably. Flying from the Far Eastern Land to the Tower of Babylon had been countless times faster than traveling by plane, and she was a little tired too.
"Mm, you've worked hard, Hiyamaru."
"It wasn't hard, not for Big Sister."
Though she looked like a fierce fox at the moment, she spoke in an adorably cute voice.
As they approached the Tower of Babylon before them, Hiyamaru's speed gradually slowed, and she descended closer and closer to the ground. By the time they reached the entrance to the Babylon Laboratory, Hiyamaru had landed completely.
Himeko jumped down from Hiyamaru's back and looked at the Tower of Babylon before her. It had not seemed all that impressive from the sky, but now that she stood before the laboratory, she could not help but feel awed.
It was far too tall!
And this laboratory had apparently been constructed in a very short time. Schicksal's construction capabilities really were impressive.
