Chapter 36: The Laboratory Prison
After circling the area, Himeko suddenly spotted something purple on the ground to the side. Without thinking much of it, she walked over.
Crouching down, Himeko picked up the object from the floor. It looked like tiny shards of purple glass.
"This is... a trace of low-level Honkai energy."
Looking at the substance on her fingertip, Himeko suddenly thought of something.
This must have been left behind because of Sirin, right?
"For some reason, I keep feeling like a ghost is about to jump out at us from somewhere."
As Himeko examined the Honkai energy residue in her hand, Theresa's familiar voice reached her ears. Himeko looked toward the entrance and saw Theresa and Patrick walking in together.
Himeko was not surprised. She had known they would follow.
Still, seeing Theresa nervously looking around was rather amusing. She was already such an adult, yet she was still so afraid of ghosts.
"Um... have you made any progress?"
Having entered the reactor area, Theresa nervously looked around. When she saw Himeko, she asked with a hint of curiosity.
"Oh, right. We don't know your names yet. I'm Theresa, an S-rank Valkyrie of Schicksal, and she's Patrick."
"Pfft—an S-rank Valkyrie? Are all of Schicksal's S-rank Valkyries as timid as you?"
