Just as Himeko left the little shop with the two Herrschers, she had barely stepped out the door when she heard a sharp whoosh—an arrow flew straight at her.
Without even thinking, Himeko swiftly twisted sideways and reached out, grabbing the incoming arrow in one hand.

Looking in the direction the arrow had come from, she saw a white-haired, golden-eyed girl in a black uniform standing atop the roof of a five-story building several hundred meters away, bow in hand.
The girl had exquisite features and a long ponytail. Her eyes seemed to gleam crimson, while her black vest and black short skirt made her look especially neat and refreshing.
When she noticed Himeko looking at her, the girl calmly nocked another arrow and aimed at Himeko.
The moment the arrow left the bow, flames suddenly coiled around it as it shot toward Himeko.
