At a relatively wide intersection, more than a dozen warrior guards protected the person in the carriage at the center... a boy of thirteen or fourteen. Probably male, though he looked rather feminine... At first glance, one might mistake him for a cute girl.
The boy wore embroidered white robes, with a long blade and a short blade hanging at his waist. He looked grimly at his surroundings.
Before them, a group of bandits had surrounded them.
However, these bandits did not look like normal people. Every one of them had blood-red eyes and appeared utterly crazed.
Though unwilling, the boy still mounted another horse that a guard had yielded to him, preparing to leave first...
But just as he turned to flee, a three-meter-tall bandit, like a little giant, blocked the way behind them with a massive axe.
