After earnestly promising Miyako Hōka in bed, Miko Chōchō finally turned and left the room.
Zombies and a Girl
"This is my bedroom. If you do not mind, my lady, please rest here with her for now!"
Miko Chōchō led Fu Hua to her bedroom. It was not that there were no other rooms, but she had not had time to tidy them up.
"Mm, thank you for the trouble."
Fu Hua looked over the room before her. It was a simple little bedroom with very few things inside. There was not even much of a dressing table; it was simply a place to rest.
However, quite a few clothes hung in the room: ordinary cloth garments, hemp clothes, and miko robes. They probably all belonged to Chōchō.
Holding little Kaguya, Fu Hua walked to the made bed and carefully laid her down.
As she put her down, Kaguya clutched Fu Hua's clothes tightly with both hands, seemingly unwilling to let go. Fu Hua could only gently soothe the little one, and when she relaxed... removed her hands.
Little Kaguya lay on the bed, curled into a ball, looking incredibly adorable.
Looking at the sleeping Kaguya on the bed, Fu Hua brushed aside her beautiful silken hair. Feeling the smooth strands slip through her fingers was very pleasant.
"Rest well..."
After admiring Kaguya's sleeping face for a while, Fu Hua left the room.
"My lady..."
Seeing Fu Hua step out, Miko Chōchō, who had been waiting outside the door, hurried forward. There was hesitation on her face. Faced with her friend who would become a zombie, she did not know how to save her, so she instinctively could only rely on this woman she had just met.
"Just call me Fu Hua."
