Sil cautiously followed the shopkeeper toward the back room.
After watching the little girl named Sil go into the back room with the shopkeeper, Durandal and Rita sat down elsewhere.
"That little girl..."
Durandal searched through memories that had nearly faded away.
"She seemed to be one of Night Raid's future assassins—the Sil who died after only a few episodes."
Rita poured a cup of water for herself and Durandal. For some reason, her memory was better than Durandal's, and she remembered immediately.

Holding her cup, Rita asked softly.
