Durandal had noticed Chelsea's state as well. Good. Fear was exactly what she wanted.
But she was only saying it. How could she possibly hand Chelsea over to that minister? The man did not have much longer to live, and a considerable portion of the Empire's talent had already defected to her.
Very soon, she would launch a coup! He would not be jumping around for many more days.
Durandal began untying the ropes around Chelsea. She was not afraid Chelsea would run, because she was right here. Chelsea could not escape.
Once the ropes were untied, Chelsea instinctively wanted to flee, but for some reason, she could not move her legs at all. She rubbed her body and glared at Durandal in annoyance.
Ignoring Chelsea's gaze, Durandal took out a sheet of white paper and unfolded it before her.
A cute little white cat appeared on the paper. It was the very cat Chelsea had transformed into before.
"See that? Transform for me right now!"
Durandal grabbed Chelsea's head, preventing her from turning away and forcing her to look at the picture. Then she pointed at the white cat in the drawing.
"..."
Chelsea suddenly felt as if she had a breath caught in her throat that she desperately needed to spit out.
Transform your grandma!
If you like cats so much, why don't you transform yourself?
But she did not dare say it and could only bottle it up inside.
"Great General, the Empire's only star, I'm a person, not a cat. Could you please stop toying with me?"
She could not take a hard-line approach, so she could only speak softly.
Everyone said Durandal was a true knight, a general who loved the people, but she was clearly such a terrible person!
Where was her knightly spirit?
