Chapter Summaries

Ning Fengzhi intervened when Xue Xing’s guards threatened Tang San and then invited him to discuss a hidden-weapons partnership with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect. As Tang San left with Ning Fengzhi, Yun Tian wondered whether the sect’s political maneuvering would contribute to its eventual destruction.

• Xue Xing ordered his guards to seize Tang San, but Ning Fengzhi arrived with Sword Douluo Chen Xin and asked him to stand down.
• Ning Rongrong told Tang San that her father wanted to discuss a partnership for his hidden weapons, and Tang San realized Xiao Wu had already left.
• Xue Xing yielded to Ning Fengzhi’s intervention and took the fourth prince, Xue Beng, away.
• Ning Fengzhi asked Tang San whether Rongrong’s Martial Soul could return to normal through cultivation, and Tang San credited his teacher, Yu Xiaogang.

Yun Tian traveled with Dugu Bo to Skywater Academy, where Shui Qingwu and Elder Xu nervously met the Titled Douluo who would help Yun Tian obtain his Sixth Soul Ring. Meanwhile, Xiao Wu spent the Gold Soul Coins Tang San gave her at an upscale club and returned to ask him for more.

• Dugu Yan met Yun Tian and wondered how someone her age could already be a Soul Emperor as Dugu Bo prepared to leave with him.
• Xiao Wu asked Tang San for another ten thousand Gold Soul Coins after spending his previous gift at an upscale club with Ning Rongrong.
• Tang San gave Xiao Wu the money, then fantasized that she might soon let him hold her hand.
• Dugu Bo brought Yun Tian to Skywater City, leaving Shui Qingwu and Elder Xu nervous when they realized his friend was Poison Douluo Dugu Bo.
• Shui Qingwu thanked Dugu Bo for helping Yun Tian hunt for his Sixth Soul Ring, and Dugu Bo said Yun Tian had done him a great favor.

Yun Tian, Dugu Bo, Shui Qingwu, and Elder Xu traveled to the Far North, where Dugu Bo helped Yun Tian kill a Cold Abyss Demon Hound. Yun Tian began absorbing its Soul Ring, and Tian Meng destroyed the beast’s resentment in his Sea of Consciousness.

• Dugu Bo flew ahead using Yun Tian’s map and quickly found and severely wounded the Cold Abyss Demon Hound.
• Dugu Bo pinned the beast with his Soul Power, and Yun Tian killed it with his fifth Soul Skill, Swallowing Sun, Roaring Heaven.
• Shui Qingwu and Elder Xu agreed to stand guard while Yun Tian drew the beast’s Ten Thousand Year Soul Ring into himself.

After Yun Tian absorbed a fifty-thousand-year Soul Ring, he left with Dugu Bo for Heaven Dou City, while Shui Qingwu considered arranging a match between him and Shui Bing'er. At Shrek Academy, Yu Xiaogang prepared to visit Bibi Dong to obtain the Twin Martial Souls cultivation method for Tang San, despite Flender's objections.

• Yun Tian completed the absorption of his fifty-thousand-year Soul Ring and reached rank sixty-three, while the itching between his brows intensified.
• Yun Tian asked Dugu Bo to take him to Heaven Dou City to collect Immortal Herbs, and Shui Qingwu agreed to let Yun Tian and Shui Bing'er choose their own relationship.

Yu Xiaogang persuaded Flender to help hide his trip to Spirit Hall from Liu Erlong, claiming he needed Bibi Dong’s help to improve Tang San’s cultivation method. Meanwhile, Yun Tian was pulled into a hidden space beneath the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where he found two dragon skeletons and two powerful Soul Bones.

• Yu Xiaogang told Flender he was going to Spirit Hall for the academy and Tang San, and Flender agreed to conceal his departure from Liu Erlong.
• Yu Xiaogang left Shrek Academy that night in an inconspicuous carriage bound for Spirit City.
• Yun Tian finished collecting the immortal herbs and prepared to leave the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well with Sang Biao.
• The spring waters merged into a red-and-blue vortex that pulled Yun Tian and Sang Biao into a hidden space despite Yun Tian’s Phasing skill.

Yun Tian met the lingering souls of the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King at the bottom of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where they offered him power in exchange for help with their vengeance. He rejected their proposal to become his Martial Souls and asked if they could instead become Soul Rings, leaving the Dragon Kings to explain the trade-offs.

• The Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King appeared above their skeletons and told Yun Tian they would grant him a fortune in return for his help.
• Yun Tian recalled the unconscious Sang Biao and inferred that the Dragon Kings wanted revenge on the Divine Realm and hoped their kin, including the Silver Dragon King, would find them.
• The Dragon Kings explained the Divine Realm’s hierarchy and offered to become Yun Tian’s second and third Martial Souls, automatically generating Soul Rings as he advanced.
• Yun Tian asked them to become Soul Rings instead, preferring to avoid attracting the Divine Realm’s attention and to use their power to strengthen his spear and Sang Biao.
• The Dragon Kings agreed they could become divine-skill Soul Rings with no upper age limit, but said Soul Rings had limits and could not match Martial Souls.

Yun Tian refused the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ offer to become his Martial Souls, and the Ice Dragon King sensed a terrifying power in Sang Biao that convinced them to become Soul Rings instead. The Dragon Kings left Yun Tian divine Soul Bones and Soul Ring orbs in exchange for a promise to kill the Asura God, and Yun Tian returned to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well before setting out for Skywater City.

• Yun Tian told the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings that he trusted Sang Biao and would not make them his Martial Souls.
• The Ice Dragon King probed Sang Biao and witnessed a vision of a beast that swallowed the Sun, then persuaded the Fire Dragon King to become Yun Tian’s Soul Ring instead.
• Yun Tian agreed to kill the Five Great God Kings or, at minimum, the Asura God after ascending to godhood.

Yu Xiaogang entered Spirit City by displaying a Pope Token Tang Hao had given him, despite having only rank-eleven Soul Power. The Spirit Hall Golden Generation grew suspicious of the token and decided to interrogate him.

• Yu Xiaogang was stopped at Spirit City's gates because Soul Masters below rank twenty were forbidden to enter, and he accidentally revealed that his Soul Power was only rank eleven.
• Yu Xiaogang showed the guards his Pope Token, and they bowed to him as an esteemed elder.
• Yu Xiaogang entered Spirit City and enjoyed the respect he received from people who saw the token at his waist.
• Hu Liena, Xie Yue, and Yan questioned how a rank-eleven Soul Master could possess a Pope Token and wondered if it was fake.
• Yan proposed interrogating Yu Xiaogang to determine whether he had forged the token.

Hu Liena and Xie Yue sent Yan to seize Yu Xiaogang, whom they suspected of impersonating a Spirit Hall elder, but Yu escaped by using Luo Sanpao to propel himself with foul-smelling blasts. The chaos drew an unknown powerful figure, while Yan was left with yellow-stained hair and the street was covered in filth.

• Hu Liena agreed with Yan’s plan and led Xie Yue into an alley, leaving Yan to deal with Yu Xiaogang.
• Yu Xiaogang threatened the trio, then tried to walk away when Yan challenged him.
• Yan chased Yu Xiaogang, who summoned Luo Sanpao and used his first Soul Skill to launch foul-smelling blasts and speed away.
• Hu Liena and Xie Yue looked back and saw Yan standing amid the filth with his red hair turned yellow.
• A powerful pressure descended, and an effeminate voice demanded to know who was causing trouble in Spirit City.

Yue Guan stopped Yan from killing Yu Xiaogang and recognized the man he had pinned down as Bibi Dong’s former love. He brought Yu Xiaogang to the Papal Hall, where Yu cleaned himself up before entering to meet Bibi Dong alone.

• Yue Guan arrived with ten knights and subdued Yu Xiaogang after Hu Liena and Xie Yue accused him of forging a Pope Token.
• Yan tried to attack Yu Xiaogang, but Yue Guan stopped him and insisted that only Bibi Dong or the Great Enshrined could judge the forgery.
• Yue Guan recognized Yu Xiaogang and released him, then told Hu Liena and the others to leave the matter to him.
• Yue Guan brought Yu Xiaogang to the Papal Hall and summoned a maid to help him clean up before meeting Bibi Dong.
• Yue Guan opened the Papal Hall gates, and Yu Xiaogang entered alone to see Bibi Dong.

Yu Xiaogang went to the Papal Hall to ask Bibi Dong for the method of cultivating Twin Martial Souls so he could help his disciple, Tang San. Bibi Dong refused, and Yu Xiaogang left Spirit City vowing to repay the humiliation.

• Yu Xiaogang entered the Papal Hall and asked Bibi Dong how she had cultivated her Twin Martial Souls.
• Bibi Dong realized Yu Xiaogang had come for the method rather than to see her, and refused to teach it despite his pleas.
• Yu Xiaogang accused Bibi Dong of humiliating him and vowed to work out the method himself and make her pay.
• Bibi Dong used her Soul Power to force Yu Xiaogang back, then called Yue Guan and ordered him to expel Yu Xiaogang from Spirit City.
• Yue Guan escorted Yu Xiaogang out, wondering whether Bibi Dong had finally overcome her infatuation.

Yue Guan stopped Yu Xiaogang from leaving Spirit City and took revenge on him by dragging him to a sealed interrogation room. Yu Xiaogang woke in the darkness with his clothes removed and found himself at the mercy of the people inside.

• Yu Xiaogang threatened to return with Xiaosan and repay Bibi Dong for humiliating him, then tried to leave Spirit City.
• Yue Guan intercepted Yu Xiaogang near the city exit and claimed he wanted to show his friend some hospitality.
• Yue Guan knocked Yu Xiaogang unconscious and brought him to a sealed room, saying he would repay his father's debt.
• Yue Guan pushed Yu Xiaogang through an opening, where someone dragged him inside.
• Yu Xiaogang woke in the dark, realized his clothes were gone, and discovered he could not use his Soul Power as someone touched him.
