Ge Xiaolun was filled with emotion. If Blue Star possessed technology like this, how could it have been bullied into its current state?
"An... uh... Sister Zhi Xin, does your Angel Civilization have something like a Heavenly Flame Divine Weapon too?"
"Are you making fun of us?"
Zhi Xin shot Ge Xiaolun a glance. "In the Known Universe, no civilization has ever reached such a high level of technological development."
"Not even the Angel Civilization?"
"Your North Star's technology has not even reached the average technological level, so you do not feel it as deeply. In other words, the more technologically advanced a civilization is, the more it understands just how unreasonable such a thing truly is."
"Do you think your North Star is big?"
"Uh... pretty big?" Ge Xiaolun scratched his head awkwardly. "Sorry, you know, I... do not know much."
"It is neither small nor large. Among the civilizations of the Known Universe, North Star is not considered small as a civilization's planet of origin." After speaking, Zhi Xin pointed at the sun in the sky. "What about that?"
"It is much bigger!"
Ge Xiaolun hurriedly said, "Sister, even if I studied liberal arts, I still know some basic general knowledge, all right!"
The sun's volume was more than a hundred times that of Blue Star, roughly the difference between a glass marble and a basketball.
"A Star Destroyer-level Weapon refers to one with enough yield to pierce through a planet. Above that is the stellar level. A star and several planets together form a galaxy."
"Then a basic fact emerges: the volume of a galaxy is countless times greater than that of a star."
Ge Xiaolun nodded. "That is right."
"Setting aside weapons like God-Slaying Weapons, the greatest yield North Star possesses is nuclear bombs. With enough numbers, they can barely add up to enough yield to destroy North Star. But if you want to destroy the star in your solar system, it is no longer merely a matter of quantity. In other words, nuclear bombs would need to increase in number exponentially before they could achieve a stellar-level attack."
Ge Xiaolun thought about it. "I do not really understand... but it should roughly be as you said."
"All right, then let us continue along this line of thought. What if I wanted to destroy a galaxy?"
Zhi Xin's expression turned solemn. "A galaxy contains at least one star and several planets orbiting that star. If I wanted to destroy that galaxy, I would need to destroy every star and planet within it."
"Can you imagine some kind of weapon that could destroy a galaxy with a single attack?"
Following Zhi Xin's train of thought, Ge Xiaolun understood as well.
"Then... then that means their attack..."
"Exceeds all of our imaginations."
Zhi Xin took a deep breath. "In the Known Universe, there are only two civilizations that might possess galaxy-level attack capabilities. The Liesun Civilization counts as one."
"Sister Leina?"
"That is right. The other may be Death God Karl."
Ge Xiaolun froze. "Death God? Is that not..."
"Yes, that is the civilization to which the Taotie Legion invading North Star belongs."
Ge Xiaolun's eyes widened. "Then... then are they insane?"
They possessed galaxy-level attack capabilities, yet they were still eyeing a pre-nuclear civilization like theirs?
"I could not understand before why Carl was so fixated on North Star. Perhaps she truly had her eye on you genetic warriors left behind by the God River Civilization, but now it seems Carl's ultimate target was probably Queen Keisha."
Just thinking of it made Zhi Xin feel like she could barely breathe.
Attacking North Star had been a feint. In reality, Morgana and Carl had joined forces to trap and kill Holy Keisha!
As the supreme leader of the Demon Civilization, Morgana had not exactly been living comfortably. After all, the Angel Civilization had continuously hunted and pursued her.
Setting her sights on Blue Star was theoretically understandable, but why did Morgana dare to do so? The Demon Civilization had repeatedly suffered defeats at the hands of the Angel Civilization, so what gave her the confidence to target North Star?
Was it because Carl had stepped in to help?
No... that reason was insufficient.
The only explanation was that Morgana and Carl had jointly laid this trap.
If this plan succeeded, Queen Keisha would fall, the Angel Civilization would suffer a severe blow, and the Demon Legion would be able to seize North Star and claim this desirable habitable planet.
Then what was Carl's objective?

Once Queen Keisha fell, it would mean the unavoidable end of the Age of Divine Authority.
At that point, no existence would remain capable of stopping Carl's advance.

Morgana was certainly hateful, but Carl, her accomplice, was equally guilty of monstrous crimes!
"We may be standing amid a transformation not seen in ten thousand years. If my prediction is correct, the sky will likely change very soon. When that happens, it may not simply be a war between North Star and the Demon Legion. It may... become a massive disaster involving the entire universe."
Zhi Xin's expression was grave. "Galaxy Strength, the Angel Civilization has helped you. I also hope that you can help the Angel Civilization..."
"I will not hesitate!"
Ge Xiaolun patted his chest, then deflated somewhat. "But then again... you know that right now... our situation really is..."
