Snort...
The dragon gave a loud snort.
Sheets of lightning arcs surged, crackling.
The dragon reached out a claw and grabbed at the werewolf who had turned into a giant wolf!
The enormous shadow enveloped his body. Trembling all over, he did not dare dodge.
He could only watch helplessly as the claw descended.
He was so frightened that a bright yellow shower of arrows shot out from between his hind legs!
There was only one thought in his mind-I'm done for!
Crack~
The dragon's claw closed around the giant wolf's waist. His draconic eyes swept over the other werewolves and vampires as he slowly said:
"Mad wolf disease? Why have I never heard of this disease? Barbara, you're knowledgeable. Do you know of it?"
"I've never heard of it either."
Barbara shook her head in some confusion, then looked at the werewolves and vampires.
"They might be deceiving us."
The werewolves shuddered at her words.
They felt as though murderous intent was spreading through the dragon's eyes.
Their hearts pounded wildly, and they nearly all pissed themselves.
Fortunately, one werewolf thought quickly under pressure and hurriedly said:
"No, no, no... How would we dare deceive a great dragon?
"It's true! We really do have this disease! But because mad wolf disease sounds somewhat similar to rabies,
"and we wolves have always despised those canine folk who only know how to fawn over humans, we didn't want anyone associating us with those lowly canine folk, so we concealed this disease.
"Other races have no way of knowing about it."
The other werewolves secretly breathed sighs of relief at his words.
They applauded their companion's quick thinking.
"Hmm... Is that so..."
The dragon murmured, his expression still somewhat doubtful.
"Yes! That's exactly it! How would we dare deceive the great dragonkind?"
