As one of only two islands with Dao Foundation Stage cultivators in the Yunsha Sea Region, they had that confidence: any Demon Cultivator who invaded would be driven back by their supreme elder!
At the very center of Black Star Island, on a quiet, elegant little hill, Daoist Liefeng was diligently watering the spirit medicines in a small medicinal garden like an old farmer. He worked meticulously, his features peaceful.
In a pavilion nearby, Han Chen stood quietly watching Daoist Liefeng tend the garden, occasionally bringing him various tools at his instructions.
When Daoist Liefeng finished and returned to the pavilion, Han Chen hurriedly poured him a cup of tea. Daoist Liefeng lifted it and took a small sip. "Excellent tea! The tea trees on Black Star Island have no such refreshing fragrance. Even the few spirit tea trees I brought here aren't this fragrant!"
"I bought it at the market. It's selling very well, so I bought some especially for you to try, Father!"
Who would have thought Han Chen was actually Daoist Liefeng's son! Then again, the Han Family passed its legacy down through its bloodline. As the family's only Dao Foundation cultivator, Daoist Liefeng naturally favored his own son when choosing its head!
"Mm, thoughtful of you!"
Setting down his teacup, Daoist Liefeng asked, "How is the market? Have the Demon Cultivators affected it much?"
"Quite a lot, but now that a Dao Foundation cultivator from the Tide-Subduing Sect is stationed there, business is booming again!"
At this, a smile appeared on Han Chen's face.
