He and the other leaders planned a staged attack on Bamboo Sea Island, Greenfish Island, and the mining site to seize the vein while concealing their involvement.

The chase ended when Chen Qisong intercepted the demons at the Outer Sea boundary, where Zhang Ying escaped with the unconscious Guiwu; Zhao Yi returned to Yuanchen Island as the demons began recovering in hiding.
