"Uncle?"
Qin Yan's hat-covered head popped out, her big, round eyes fixed on his hand as he pinched her tail.
Fu Nanshan gave it two more squeezes without changing his expression.
"It's nothing."
His gaze fell on her ears again.
Round. Cute.
Fluffy. Cute.
His chubby little niece in red panda form was even cuter.
And so Qin Yan got petted by her Younger Uncle the entire way.
His movements were exactly like someone holding a little animal and stroking a cat.
Qin Yan didn't struggle either. She stayed obediently still, half her little body tucked into her nest and the other fluffy half draped over her Younger Uncle's knees.
She really did look like a cuddly, clingy little ball of red panda fluff.
That lasted until they reached her Fourth Uncle's house in Hai City.
Looking perfectly serious and aloof, Fu Nanshan jumped off Fubao's back with the little one in his arms.
"Fourth Uncle, are you home, Fourth Uncle?"
The little one lay over her Younger Uncle's shoulder, calling for her Fourth Uncle in her soft, sweet voice.
Unfortunately, no one was there.
But that was all right. She had a key to her Fourth Uncle's house. Hehe.
Climbing out of her Younger Uncle's arms, the chubby little red panda hopped over and opened the door with practiced ease.
A long, slender, dark green shadow flashed past.
The next second, something wrapped around Qin Yan's little waist, and whoosh-she was airborne!
"Whoaaaa..."
In just a few blinks, Qin Yan found herself in a room.
Once she steadied herself, she saw the luxuriantly growing seaweed waving its fronds wildly in front of her.
"Niuniu, I came to see you!"
She said it extra loudly.
Yes, the little one even knew to cover up her guilty conscience with her voice.
