Valmont (Shendu) turned around, his icy gaze settling on the four below him, then spoke in a low, commanding voice. "Chow, Lassoo, Finn, Hak Foo, lead the Shadowkhan soldiers and find out exactly what happened. If you discover the Twelve Talismans, bring them back here immediately!"
"Yes, boss!" Chow, Lassoo, Finn, and Hak Foo answered in unison, determination on their faces. Then they turned to leave.
Just then, however, someone suddenly shoved the office door open with a loud crash.
Valmont (Shendu) and the others looked toward the doorway in surprise, only to see a boy wearing a straw hat swagger inside.
"Huh? Where's this?" The boy looked around curiously, seemingly unfamiliar with his surroundings. Close behind him were two men, three women, and a strange tanuki walking upright.
The arrivals were none other than Luffy's group.
The group consisted of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Yuki Haku, Robin, Nami, and Chopper. They stood at the doorway, looking at the scene inside with puzzled expressions.
"Hey, Luffy, haven't you learned your lesson? You actually let this directionally challenged Moss Head lead the way?" Sanji sighed. Spotting a trash can, he casually flicked the cigarette butt from his mouth with his right hand, landing it squarely inside, and exhaled one last wisp of smoke.
"I must've lost my mind too, trusting that idiot Moss Head!" Sanji complained as he rubbed his forehead.
"You damn pervy cook! You think I won't cut you down?!" Zoro pressed his left hand against the hilts of the three swords at his waist, looking as though he could barely resist drawing them.
His eyes widened as he glared fiercely at Sanji, as though looking for the best place to start, ready to chop him into seven or eight pieces.
"All right, all right, stop arguing," Nami said helplessly.
