Chapter 17: Familiar faces
Only after entering the swimming center did they discover that the university swimming club was training there. There was also a pool over by Nanjing University's student apartment complex, but it was usually packed. People went into it like dumplings into a pot; it was less like washing and more like soaking in a communal bath.
The swimming club had a long-term partnership with the hotel's swimming center and received certain discounts. Su Can, Tang Wu, Cheng Congcong, whom they had run into, and the others followed a few people who knew the club's officers through the discounted admission entrance. Passing through the lobby, they also saw a fan group of forty or fifty people gathered there. Apparently, a South Korean celebrity was staying at the hotel.
