Chapter 135: Changing the world
The flight from San Francisco to New York State essentially crossed the continental United States from west to east. The journey would take an estimated five hours or more, and even at the Gulfstream's cruising speed, the electronic display indicated four hours and twenty-three minutes.
Su Can's ticket for UA858, the flight that had brought him to the United States, was still tucked inside a book he had brought along to relieve the boredom of travel, but he had casually set the book on the solid redwood table.
Before Su Can and Zack, Michael Wolfe, who had meticulously arranged all of this, dropped his bombshell.
Anyone standing before him would have been blasted senseless by that bombshell, left utterly defenseless. Even Mark Zuckerberg exclaimed when he heard it, "That's cool!"
Most importantly, they were now in the completely enclosed environment of an airplane. They could take to the skies, but had no way back to earth. Michael Wolfe inevitably controlled the setting of their negotiations. Aboard one of the world's most advanced business jets, first-class chefs served them lavish meals, including French foie gras and Japanese sushi. Everything in sight could be described as luxurious.
Most importantly, Michael also solemnly told Su Can and Zack that they could have all of this too, as long as they sold their company to them.
Su Can found it formidable: 1.5 billion dollars to acquire the venture he and Zack were currently building. Each of them could receive seven or eight hundred million dollars, an unimaginable sum to an ordinary person. To Su Can, too, it was an astronomical figure.
Had he not been reborn, he would probably have been overwhelmed as well, because this premium far exceeded Facebook's valuation after their financing round. They might even have
