As the internal restructuring at Rongcheng's Chuannan Aviation Group gradually gathered steam, Su Can, back at Nanjing University, temporarily returned to his normal routine of attending classes on schedule and hurrying between teaching buildings.
Wu Shirui sent him a text afterward. Though her words were full of teasing, her gratitude shone through. After that, the incident was never mentioned again. The captain feared Wu Shirui like a tiger and now generally avoided being assigned to the same crew as her, which gave rise to quite a few rumors about her.
She also said that her colleague Taozi was very grateful to him. With all the subsequent activity within the aviation group, people even began saying that Su Can's words had actually brought it about.
In fact, when Wu Shirui, Taozi, and the others returned to the hotel that day, their fellow crew members had tried to talk them around again on the way.
