Su Can did not respond to the woman beside him. His gaze fell instead on the faces of several men ahead. A bespectacled man who looked quite refined was sitting on a sofa, talking to a man in his thirties with a cigarette between his lips. The smoker sat with his legs crossed, occasionally waving a hand, putting on all the airs of a big shot.
The man in glasses looked familiar to Su Can, but for a long while he could not remember where he had seen him. Then it struck him like a jolt of electricity.
