Blinds were fitted inside, allowing natural light in while providing privacy when needed.
The open office area, however, used low partitions. The renovation company, which had worked for numerous famous businesses, said that several large companies it had recently renovated had all used full-height partitions for their workspaces, creating a grand, elegant impression that better reflected their corporate culture.
But in Su Can's view, apart from the necessary privacy of key offices, low partitions made the open workspace easier to take in at a glance and better embodied Facebook Chinese's culture of "simplicity."
