Chapter Seven: Faces among peach blossoms
The night was terrifyingly still.
Su Can immediately canceled his flight to Shanghai and urgently switched to Zhengzhou. The plane plunged into the deep black sky. Through the window, Huangcheng's crisscrossing city lights gradually fell away beneath the clouds, followed by a stretch of darkness, as though he had sunk into an eternal abyss. Finally, after a little turbulence through the troposphere, an enormous full moon rose above the sea of clouds like black mist.
