Chapter 44: Basic drills
Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump!
Since winter began, the weather on the outdoor basketball court had grown colder and a little overcast. The wind was nowhere near as pleasant as it had been in autumn; instead, it felt rather chilling. Su Can, however, was quite the opposite, his head already drenched in sweat. Had he not taken off his jacket, the sweat would probably have soaked through his undershirt and left a wet patch on the back of his jacket.
Maintaining his current dribbling posture took stamina: bending his knees without bending at the waist, lowering his center of gravity below his waist, leaning forward, and keeping a small portion of his forearm near the wrist against his thigh as he dribbled this low. Lin Luoran said his fundamentals were simply too poor, and this kind of dribbling was the best exercise and the best way to build a foundation. She could not explain exactly why, only saying that her coach had trained her this way when she first
