Chapter Summaries

Meikyō, Whitebeard, and Rayleigh covered the pirates’ escape from Marineford, and their combined attack devastated the island. With Shanks intervening and Saint Garling ordering a retreat, the Marines abandoned the battle; Sengoku accepted that Marineford was lost and proposed moving headquarters to the G-1 Branch.

• Meikyō, Whitebeard, and Rayleigh held off the Marines while the Whitebeard Pirates and Fan Pirates escaped, then unleashed a devastating attack that nearly destroyed Marineford and badly wounded Akainu.
• Shanks and Kaido arrived, and Meikyō, Whitebeard, and Rayleigh discussed an alliance with Kaido to oppose the World Government.
• Shanks met privately with Saint Garling aboard the Fledis, refused to return to the Celestial Dragons, and warned that he would oppose a full-scale war against the pirates.
• Saint Garling ordered the Marines to withdraw despite Akainu’s protests, while Sengoku and the others accepted that the battle had ended in defeat.
• As the Marines sailed away from the ruins, Sengoku proposed making the G-1 Branch the new Marine Headquarters.

After the Marineford war, Meikyō learned how Dragon had recovered Pluton and began planning to use the pirate alliance and Revolutionary Army to challenge the World Government. He returned to the One-Punch Man World, where Genos relayed Bang’s invitation to visit his dojo.

• The Whitebeard Pirates, Fan Pirates, and Kaido prepared their alliance under Rayleigh’s direction while Meikyō’s plans remained unclear to Kaido.
• Dragon told Meikyō that he had recovered Pluton from Wano Country with help from Fish-Man Island and Princess Shirahoshi, and that Iceberg, Franky, and Caesar were working on repairs.
• Meikyō planned to use the pirate alliance to draw the World Government’s attention, gather resources, and strengthen the Revolutionary Army before bringing Poseidon and Pluton into the conflict.

A colossal spaceship attacked A-City, and Meikyō prepared to take the heroes aboard as Saitama leaped onto it to confront Boros.

• Meikyō copied Bang’s martial art after watching its demonstration and sparred with him, impressing Bang with his talent.
• A Hero Association messenger summoned Meikyō, Saitama, Genos, and Bang to an emergency meeting with the S-Class heroes.
• Sitch revealed that Shibabawa had died after writing that Earth was doomed, and he warned that a disaster beyond Dragon level would arrive within six months.
• A huge spaceship attacked A-City, destroying nearly all of it, while Saitama jumped onto the ship and the other heroes gathered outside.
• Meikyō identified Boros as the threat aboard the spaceship and offered to send the S-Class heroes up to it as the ground team faced Melzargard.

Meikyō and the S-class heroes fought their way through the Dark Matter Thieves' spaceship, while Tatsumaki battled Geryuganshoop and Meikyō defeated the giant Groribas. The remaining heroes advanced toward Boros as an exhausted Tatsumaki prepared to help, while King accidentally frightened a crowd of low-ranking aliens into surrendering.

• Meikyō led the heroes aboard the spaceship, and Genos blasted an opening through its hull before the group split into the ship's corridors.
• Saitama met Tatsumaki, who directed him down a different passage as Geryuganshoop ordered Groribas and the other combatants to attack the intruders.
• King lost track of the heroes, while Superalloy Darkshine, Flashy Flash, Zombie Man, Pig God, Child Emperor, Drive Knight, and Genos fought the ship's elite combatants.
• Groribas enlarged himself and battled Meikyō's Perfect Susanoo, but Meikyō cut off his final head and defeated him.
• King's King Engine terrified the low-ranking combatants, who surrendered after the Susanoo crushed many of them while fighting Groribas.

Meikyō fought Boros after defeating Groribas, but Boros overwhelmed him and the S-Class heroes until Saitama arrived. Saitama began battling Boros, whose immense power continued to devastate the spaceship.

• Sitch received reports that the heroes were fighting powerful aliens aboard the spaceship and worried that Earth might be doomed.
• Meikyō sealed Groribas, then confronted Boros and exchanged blows with him across the spaceship.
• Boros unsealed his power and defeated or incapacitated most of the heroes, while Meikyō struck him with a massive Amaterasu Dragon Dance that failed to stop his regeneration.
• Saitama arrived and punched Boros through the spaceship, then Boros regenerated and challenged him again.
• Saitama and Boros fought at tremendous speed, further damaging the spaceship as Meikyō considered the scale of Boros's power.

Saitama defeated Boros after a fierce battle that left Meikyō badly injured and destroyed the alien spaceship over A-City. The heroes treated the wounded and rescued survivors, while Sweet Mask arrived after the battle and confronted the other heroes.

• Meikyō and Superalloy Darkshine evacuated the injured S-rank heroes as Saitama and Boros fought, and Bang, Atomic Samurai, Metal Bat, and Sexy Futanari defeated Melzargard.
• Boros unleashed his Roaring Star Cannon, but Saitama answered with a Serious Punch that defeated Boros and split the clouds across the sky.
• Boros acknowledged Saitama's strength before dying, and Meikyō stored Boros's remains in a Sealing Scroll as the damaged spaceship crashed into A-City.

The feast ended with a drunken Tatsumaki arguing with Meikyō and Zombie Man as they tried to take her back to her room.

• Meikyō told Sweet Mask that the captured aliens were King’s spoils, and King said they could be disposed of after interrogation before leaving.
• Metal Knight arrived to claim the spaceship wreckage, but Meikyō challenged his right to it; Metal Knight left to discuss the matter with the Hero Association.
• One week later, Saitama, Genos, Bang, Meikyō, and other heroes relaxed at a hot spring before Sitch invited them to a celebration feast and warned that Earth’s danger might not be over.
• Meikyō learned that Agni had supplied the Dragonfall Liquor and packed two bottles to take home, while Tatsumaki tried to prove she could drink more than everyone else.
• As the banquet wound down, Meikyō and Zombie Man tried to escort the drunk Tatsumaki to her room, and she broke free and accused them of looking down on her.

After the Hero Association cleared up the misunderstanding surrounding Zombie Man, Meikyō agreed to let Metal Knight recover the alien spaceship wreckage and visited Genus’s laboratory to discuss gene research and salvaged technology. He tested Boros’s Gravity Chamber and found that its standard setting could provide useful training, though it drained the laboratory’s stored electricity quickly.

• Child Emperor suspected an S-rank hero had murdered Zombie Man, but Saitama prompted everyone to check the surveillance footage and discover the incident had been a misunderstanding.
• King-san suggested that Meikyō and Tatsumaki had spent the night together, and Sitch and the other heroes accepted his explanation; Zombie Man then reported that Tatsumaki was resting after the night with Meikyō.
• Sitch asked Meikyō to let Metal Knight recover the spaceship wreckage, and Meikyō agreed because he had already taken its most valuable contents with Genus and Dr. Kuseno.
• Genus explained that the second gene bank was suitable for transplantation into Meikyō, while the more distantly related third gene bank, likely from the Hyuga Clan, carried too much risk for his eyes.

• Oomuro Castle Flame picked up Chiyo from the Ninja Academy, while Uchiha Itachi worried that Sasuke’s generation would face another war.

Meikyō completed a body modification that greatly improved his vitality and gave him Wood Release, then reviewed the other villages’ movements as Konoha prepared for the arriving Kage. The chapter ended with Tsunade diagnosing Hozuki Mangetsu with a Kekkei Genkai disease, leaving Hozuki Suigetsu shocked.

• Genus finished modifying Meikyō, whose body gained rapid healing and the ability to create trees, while his skin was restored to its original appearance.
• Meikyō created a powerful Wood Clone before returning to the Naruto world.
• Yamanaka Inoichi reported that Pakura and Mei Terumī had arrived in Konoha, while the Fourth Raikage and Third Tsuchikage were traveling there without their Jinchuriki.

• Meikyō and Tsunade explained that Hozuki Mangetsu's illness came from an incomplete Kekkei Genkai awakening, and Tsunade assured him that Konoha could cure him.
• Mifune opened the Five Kage Summit, where Ōnoki questioned Pakura and Mei Terumī's legitimacy and Dan Katō and Meikyō intervened to keep the discussion from turning into a fight.

After Konoha mourned its casualties and reviewed the battle, Meikyō revealed that he had acquired Uchiha Madara’s blood and believed he had found a path to grow stronger.

• Minato Namikaze and Kushina transformed into the golden Nine-Tails, bound Bhiruho’s Wood Golem, and struck him with a Rasenshuriken and a Tailed Beast Ball, but White Zetsu Afū carried the unconscious Bhiruho away.
