When Luo Fan asked about business, the teasing look on Jiang Shengnan's face disappeared, replaced by the seriousness and focus particular to a mission at hand.
She looked at Luo Fan and began explaining the details of her fourth-tier Promotion Mission.
"The key to my Promotion Mission is the number of people."
Jiang Shengnan's voice was clear and calm. "The objective is to hunt a specific variant of Asura Weird. But the mission's difficulty changes depending on how many people are in my party."
She paused, then elaborated, "If I choose to act alone, I'll have to face a fourth-tier Asura Weird."
"That's the base difficulty, but it's still extremely challenging for me."
"If I team up with one person, like I'm doing with you now, the target becomes a fifth-tier Asura Weird!"
"If I find one more helper and form a party of three, we'll have to fight a Sixth Tier Asura Weird!"
"And so on!"
Jiang Shengnan spread her hands, a hint of helplessness on her face. "Find two people to kill a Sixth Tier Weird? Never mind whether I could find two friends willing to help me who are strong enough to fight a Sixth Tier Weird. Even if I did, with my current strength, which hasn't even reached the fourth tier, I'd probably struggle just to protect myself in a battle at that level, let alone complete the mission."
"The risk is too great. I don't think it's worth it."
She looked at Luo Fan sincerely. "So, after thinking it over, I decided that teaming up with one person to challenge a fifth-tier Asura Weird was the most reasonable choice."
"It's a jump in difficulty that brings out the challenge of a Promotion Mission to the fullest, but it isn't completely hopeless like the sixth tier."
