The lingering tremors had yet to fade completely when the oddly shaped Tower had already risen more than halfway out of the mountain. In the moonlight, the ancient patterns on its surface grew ever clearer.
Deep inside the underground cave, the Qipao Weird's eyelashes fluttered. She had been unconscious for three whole days.
She had had a very long dream.
In it, she had seen many chaotic scenes: time reversing, space twisting, and countless Weirds turning to dust under the power of some rule.
Those scenes were fragmented and blurred, but one figure stood out with particular clarity.
