Luo Fan stood up and looked at the two Snake-Type Weirds still hissing at the cave entrance, a trace of icy amusement flashing in his eyes.
They actually dared to linger at the entrance, baring their fangs and roaring at him.

A palm-sized bait appeared out of thin air in his palm, radiating an uncanny attraction.
Luo Fan casually tossed it. The bait traced an arc and landed precisely two meters in front of the cave entrance.
Right there, in full sunlight.
The hissing of the Snake-Type Weird on the left, which stood closer, cut off abruptly.
Its triangular head snapped toward the bait, its grayish-white slit pupils instantly drawn to it like iron filings to a magnet.
Its scarlet forked tongue flickered rapidly, and low hisses rose from its throat.
Then!
It moved.
Rather than charging at Luo Fan, it lunged straight toward the bait.
"Hiss!!!"
The Weird on the right moved as well, but it was slower than the one on the left.
By the time the left one swallowed the bait in a single gulp, the right one had only just thrust most of its body out.
Then, with the bait eaten, it quickly regained its senses. Feeling the sunlight searing it, it frantically shrank back into the cave. In that mere blink of an eye, its snakeskin had burned away completely!
A few seconds later, and the sunlight would have burned it to ashes!
