The Young Master Weird's voice echoed across the square, and every Weird's gaze fell on Luo Fan and his two companions.
Luo Fan's heart sank to rock bottom.
He scanned the faces of those nine Weirds: two at the Seventh Tier, four or five humanoid Rule-Types.
There were also several that varied in form but were clearly not to be trifled with.
Every one of them was at least Sixth Tier.
Every one of them was the elite of the elite.
If they really joined forces...
Luo Fan dared not think about it.
From the corner of his eye, he caught the expressions on their faces. Some were thinking, some were hesitating, and some were already itching to act.
No!
He had to do something before they attacked.
Luo Fan's mind raced.
His gaze swept quickly over the nine Weirds.
The Giant Ape Weird, Seventh Tier, strength-based, but seemingly not very intelligent.
The Scorpion Weird, Seventh Tier, toxin-based. It had not displayed its abilities yet, but anything that made it this far was certainly no pushover.
The Young Master Weird, Sixth Tier, Rule Mastery Level. Its rule was "Rule Nullification," but skills that did not work on it might still work on others.
There were several other Humanoid Weirds, all Rule-Types, with unknown abilities.
Finally...
Luo Fan's gaze landed on a familiar figure.
The Snake-Type Weird.
The creature that had escaped from the cave and had just ambushed him with Petrification.
It was Sixth Tier, and its ability was Petrification, but it was not a Rule-Type.
Among this group of monsters, it was practically at the bottom.
That one.
Luo Fan's gaze sharpened.
Make an example of one to warn the rest!
This Snake-Type Weird was the perfect example.
Without any hesitation, he willed it,
