A dim stone chamber lay hidden an unknown number of meters deep beneath the earth.
There were no doors, no windows, and no passages leading outside.
This had never been a place for living things. Five Weirds formed a circle, their Weird Qi colliding and intertwining in the air, staining the entire chamber a chaotic gray-black.
The first wore a pitch-black robe, its hood concealing its entire face. Only a pair of eerie green eyes shone coldly in the darkness. It was the very Black-Robed Weird that had incited the eighth-tier Winged Queen to launch the beast tide.
The second had silver-white hair falling to her waist, skin so pale it was almost transparent, and delicate features bearing a cold allure. Her fingers were slender, her nails glowing faintly blue as though coated in poison. The silver-haired female Weird leaned against the stone wall, arms folded, her posture languid but her eyes as sharp as a hawk's.
The third was hunched and ancient-faced, leaning on a bone staff. The Hunched Elder's eyes were deeply sunken, his pupils flickering with an eerie green light like two ghostly flames that might go out at any moment.
The fourth was powerfully built, covered in dark blue-green scales, with blood-red eyes and two curved tusks protruding from the corners of its mouth.
The fifth was shrouded in mist, its appearance indistinct, even the outline of its body blurred. Only a pair of cold eyes could be seen deep within the mist.
All five Weird Shadows exuded eighth-tier auras.
Outside, any one of them would have been powerful enough to rule a region unchallenged.
Yet now they had gathered in this small stone chamber for a single shared prey.
Luo Fan.
"The Winged Queen, that eighth-tier fierce beast, died at Luo Fan's hands."
The Black-Robed
