"All right, stop making fun of Hayate. He might usually look pretty frail, but he really comes through when it counts."
A smile curved Yugao's lips. Looking at Hayate beside her, his fists clenched, she gently took his hand as she spoke.
"Huh? So you two are a couple, big sis?"
Fū tilted her head, looking a little shocked at the two holding hands before her.
"That's right. But Hayate has something else to do next, so I'll be the one showing you around Konoha."
"Oh, right, my name is Uzuki Yugao. Just call me Big Sis Yugao."
"And this uncle here is called Gekko Hayate."
Hayate's mouth twitched. Looking at Yugao's mischievous grin, he waved glumly at Fū, then turned to carry out his other assignments.
"Um, the two of us will go get settled first. Lady... Yugao, please take Fū around without us."
Wuluo looked at the excited Fū before him, at a loss for what to say.
Still, Konoha's attitude toward them was surprisingly good. Tsunade, one of the Sannin and now the Fifth Hokage, had looked at them with an incredibly friendly gaze.
Shibuki's instructions had been for them to stay in Konoha for a while. The Hokage would tell them exactly when their stay would end.
They were staying under someone else's roof, and there was no need to worry about being lured into a trap. With Konoha's current strength, if they really wanted to make a move against Fū, there would be no need to hide it.
But the two of them still felt somewhat ill at ease, so they chose to return to the guesthouse first and sort out their things.
"Huh? Shinichi and Wuluo aren't coming?"
Fū looked at them with wide eyes, only for both of them to turn their heads
