Xiao Wu streaked forward like a pink shadow, whipping up a gust as she lunged straight at A Bao.
A Bao planted his feet in a firm horse stance and crossed his arms before his chest, standing ready like a solid iron tower.
As the distance closed, Xiao Wu suddenly brought her feet together and used the momentum of her charge to drive them straight at A Bao's chest with a fierce rush of wind.
The kick came fast and furious, carrying a viciousness at odds with her dainty appearance.

A dull impact rang out the instant her soles struck A Bao's arms.
A Bao felt a sharp sting shoot through both arms, as though a speeding stone had slammed into them. His body actually swayed involuntarily.
His eyes flew wide, and every trace of his earlier contempt vanished from his gaze as he looked at Xiao Wu.
That seemingly weightless kick had packed such considerable force!
Having landed her blow, Xiao Wu did not pause. She used the recoil to spin through the air and put some distance between herself and A Bao.
Like a nimble spinning top, she evaded any counterattack A Bao might make and landed steadily three meters away, tilting her head and sticking her tongue out at him.
"Well? I wasn't lying, was I? I'm really strong!"
A Bao rubbed his tingling arms and said in a deep, muffled voice:
"You really do have some skill. I won't underestimate you anymore."
He settled back into his stance, circulating his Soul Power more steadily throughout his body.
"Now I'm going to get serious!"
The spectators in the stands were startled into cheering by that strike:
"That little girl looks delicate, but her kicks are vicious! She even made A Bao sway. This is getting interesting!"
