Three Soul Rings, two yellow and one purple, slowly revolved around the pagoda as a gentle, soothing aura spread outward.

The middle-aged man called Old Cannon rubbed his eyes, then blinked hard. His Adam's apple bobbed before he spoke.
"N-no mistake! Five, clear as day! The Hundred Beasts Team only has three Soul Elders altogether. Now this is getting interesting..."
He stroked his chin, anticipation growing in his eyes. "This Soul Fighting match might be far more exciting than we imagined!"
But the doubts had not vanished entirely. A burly, bearded man snorted heavily.
"So what if they have five Soul Elders? Look at their builds. Even those masks can't hide how green they are. Seventeen at the absolute most!"
"Every member of the Hundred Beasts Team is a veteran who's spent years in the trenches of the Soul Fighting Arena! When it comes to combat experience, even ten of these kids couldn't measure up to them!"
Someone beside him immediately agreed. "Exactly! Team Soul Fighting comes down to coordination and teamwork, not just the number of Soul Rings or Soul Power Levels!"
