The burly men sitting in the tavern all wore vicious expressions, their bodies marked with hideous scars from years of fighting. One glance was enough to tell they were no pushovers.

A burly man with a brutish face whistled at the two and spoke crudely:

Another burly man with a full beard ran his gaze up and down Tang San, licked his lips, and said with a lewd grin:
"This little young master looks so soft and tender, though. Just my type! Why not stay and have a few drinks with us big brothers?"
Laughter erupted throughout the tavern. The burly men put down their cups and gathered around the two with ill intent.
