Times Square—the neon lights that had once shone brightly now illuminated only rot and death.
The air was thick with blood and the sickly sweetness of decaying entrails, enough to make anyone retch.
Shattered billboards hung crookedly overhead, while below them churned an ocean of undead, howling and tearing at one another.
Doctor Strange, Stephen Strange, hovered in mid-air, his deep-red Cloak of Levitation covering his nose for him.
As he looked down at the sea of corpses, fine sweat beaded on Doctor Strange's forehead.
Even with military force intervention, no number of soldiers would be enough to hold the line.
Because bullets would eventually run out.
Then, a sudden change occurred!
Bzzz—!
As if an invisible, irresistible shockwave had erupted from the hovering figure not far away in front of him, it swept across half the square in an instant!
Strange's eyes widened in shock.
The Zombie Tide below, churning madly like a boiling anthill, suddenly froze in place!
The next second, swathes of zombies collapsed in perfect unison without warning, like wheat stalks cut at the waist by an invisible scythe!
The howls and chewing sounds that had filled their ears and made their scalps crawl a moment ago were instantly replaced by an eerie, heart-pounding silence.
In the vast central area of Times Square, only a few twitching figures remained, along with a carpet of undead sprawled across the ground.
The sight was too bizarre, too shocking.
Strange could even feel the faint mental dizziness as that force swept past him. If not for his formidable Mental Power and magical protection, he probably would not have escaped it either.
He abruptly turned toward the culprit ahead of him—Stephen Fang!
The other man still hovered there, expressionless.
"You..." Strange's throat felt dry, and his voice carried bewildered disbelief.
