Chapter Summaries

The New Avengers argued over whether to bomb Apocalypse’s device in Egypt, splitting into factions over the risks to civilians and the chance of stopping his plan. Stephen Fang arrived as Captain Marvel challenged the group’s fear of him, and he demanded to know which hero wanted to disappear.

• Tony Stark pushed for bombing Apocalypse’s device, while Steve Rogers and Doctor Strange warned that the strike could kill civilians and might not stop Apocalypse.
• Wolverine, Blade, Ghost Rider, Luke Cage, and Shuri argued over the cost of waiting, the morality of sacrificing civilians, and how to fight Apocalypse.
