The second-floor door was kicked open.
The door slammed into the wall with a clang.
Goten carried Hinata inside and hooked the door shut with his heel, shutting out the voices downstairs and leaving only Hinata's uncontrollable panting.
The tatami was soft.
When he laid her down, her black hair spread across the pillow. The apron Ayame had tied on her was soaked with sweat, her undershirt clung to her body, and the heat outlined her curves strikingly. A flush showed through her snow-white skin, and faint blue light darted about beneath her collarbones.
"Goten..."
"I'm so hot..."
"Something inside me keeps crashing around. It feels awful..."
Goten stood beside the tatami and looked down at her a couple of times, his Adam's apple bobbing.
This was urgent.
But it was also downright lethal.
"Hinata, if you keep looking at me like that, I'm afraid I'll break the rules first."
The corners of Hinata's eyes were red, her lashes damp with sweat.
"I... I'll listen to you."
"As long as it's you, Goten, I'm willing."
Those words raised the temperature in the room another notch.
Goten bent down and placed his fingers on the apron ties at her waist.
"Be good. Don't move."
"Your husband will cool you down now and take care of these things getting in the way while he's at it."
The ties came undone.
The soaked apron was tossed aside.
He moved quickly, but not roughly. When his fingertips brushed her collarbone, Hinata trembled softly, biting her lower lip as she blushed to the tips of her ears.
"Goten..."
"Don't say my name so sweetly. Those jealous girls downstairs have sharper ears than dogs."
Hinata closed her eyes and gripped the edge of the tatami with both hands.
"I... I'll try."
Goten took off his training
