In a conference room in the Land of Wind, the ninja sat in gloomy silence.
"Everyone, tell me what we should do!" the Kazekage said.
A senior official stood up and said, "All the experts in the village have had their chakra hooked away, and the One-Tail has been taken too. We don't have anyone left who can fight."
The Kazekage sighed again and asked, "How are Ebizo and the others doing now?"
"They're still rather weak, but they can get out of bed and walk a few steps," a ninja from the medical department said.
The Kazekage sighed again. "Let the ninja whose chakra was hooked away recover first. Once they've recovered, we'll discuss what to do!"
The meeting ended hastily not long after it began. There really was nothing they could do.
In Kirigakure in the Land of Water, the Mizukage was so furious that he flipped the table over and roared, "That bastard! He'd better not let me run into him, or I'll slaughter him!"
Watching their Mizukage rage helplessly, the senior ninja all lowered their heads in silence.
