Sheng Nian hung up and returned the Light Brain to Yan Feizhuo.
"Feizhuo, shall we go out and look for ways to make money?"
"I'll go get the guitar."
Yan Feizhuo sensed that something was off with his mood and caught his arm.
"What's wrong?"
Sheng Nian's shoulders slumped. "Nothing. Let's do the task first."
Yan Feizhuo glanced at the Livestreaming Hoverball, then pulled Sheng Nian into the bathroom in plain sight.
After switching off their microphones, Yan Feizhuo lifted Sheng Nian onto the bathroom counter and cupped his face. "What's wrong, baby?"
Sheng Nian felt rather listless. He reached out to hug Yan Feizhuo and buried his head in his chest. "It's about wanting to clear up those scandals, like I told you before..."
He told Yan Feizhuo about the public reaction online.
"Fans who were still saying they liked me yesterday turned around and joined the people insulting me. Am I really that awful? I can't even get them to believe me..."
Yan Feizhuo offered no lofty words of comfort. He simply opened his Light Brain and brought up The Bright Moon Startles Spring Fan Page for him to see.
