As Sheng Nian and Yan Feizhuo walked along, they unexpectedly stumbled upon an event packed with a vast crowd.
Everyone there seemed to be in couples. Sheng Nian peered over curiously, but there were so many people that all he could see at a glance was a sea of bobbing heads.
Sheng Nian pulled Yan Feizhuo closer and approached a friendly-looking girl. "Hello, could I ask what event is being held here?"
The girl turned around and exclaimed at the sight of the beautiful Omega. When she noticed the Alpha protectively standing behind him, she nodded knowingly. "You're here for the legend of Agriculture-Weaving Star too, right?"
Sheng Nian nodded.
She looked as though that confirmed her guess, then explained the "lovers' pledge" event to Sheng Nian.
Legend had it that, long ago on Agriculture-Weaving Star, a pair of lovers made a wish before the God of Love Statue to stay together. Moved by their devotion, the God of Love manifested a miracle and scattered Yse Flower seeds that symbolized love.
Yse Flowers bloomed all across the land of Agriculture-Weaving Star.
From then on, lovers would pick a Yse Flower they had found themselves and make a wish before the God of Love Statue ahead of the fireworks festival, thereby receiving the God of Love's approval and protection.
"I wonder if anyone will find a seven-colored Yse Flower this year..."
The girl said this with a sigh of wonder, a hint of anticipation mixed into her voice.
Yse Flowers could have up to seven colors: red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and violet. Each additional color made them rarer and more precious. According to legend, the very first pair of lovers to make a wish had taken away a seven-colored Yse Flower.
Every year, to coincide with this grand traditional
