Sheng Nian followed Director Ren farther along and reached a clearing in the garden, where the Production Team had built a spacious flower pavilion.
He walked over and sat beside Yan Feizhuo, asking quietly, "What symbolic item did the Production Team prepare for you?"
Yan Feizhuo showed him the exquisite ornament in his hands.
It was a miniature landscape inside a glass bottle: clear, pale-blue seawater, craggy, colorful coral, a crystal palace, and Siren with the pearl-bearing clam he guarded.
"It's beautiful!"
"What message did the Production Team write for you?"
Yan Feizhuo's lips curved. "You're already very strong, but we hope the tenderness in your heart can become as tangible as your strength to those who love you deeply."
Sheng Nian's eyes curved. "Director Ren was sneakily saying you're usually scary..."
Yan Feizhuo squeezed the back of his neck without speaking.
With Sheng Nian, the last to arrive, now there too, Director Ren began the next retrospective activity.
The Production Team had edited a video for each of them, featuring their individual highlights.
As they watched the videos, they recalled moments from the show together, teased one another, and burst into laughter. For a while, the atmosphere grew warm and tender.
After they had watched everyone's videos, Director Ren said, "We hope love will be an important part of your lives, but even more than that, we hope every guest can be their best self beyond romance. We wish you happiness, even on your own."
The guests applauded heartily at his words.
