Winning over Evernight Sky's Crown Prince!

Having found seven pearls, Sheng Nian and the others stopped wandering and headed straight for the exit.

The tunnel was still long, and by the end, Sheng Nian had started giving up.

Yan Feizhuo came up with an idea. He tucked Sheng Nian into the children's sightseeing train, then climbed aboard himself.

Surrounded by children, Sheng Nian felt a little embarrassed, but the joy of not having to walk soon made him forget his embarrassment. Later, he even started sharing snacks with the children on the train.

With the sightseeing train, Sheng Nian felt as though they reached the exit in no time. He got off and waved goodbye to the children, then followed Yan Feizhuo to the mission station the staff had set up to turn in their task.

The staff member said, "Congratulations, President Yan and Mr. Sheng, on coming first again. Please hand over the pearls you collected."

Sheng Nian was a little reluctant as he took the pearls out of his bag. After all, they really were pretty, big, and of excellent quality!

Yan Feizhuo pressed a hand to his forehead helplessly. "I'll buy them all back for you later."

Sheng Nian said, "You don't need to buy them. I have my own money."

[President Yan: Why is it so hard to spend money on my wife?]

[If you two are that rich, give me some!]

[Agreed!]

The staff member counted the pearls they handed over, took out a confetti cannon, and twisted it open. "Ta-da! Congratulations to Team Shengyan on collecting all seven pearls!"

Startled by the sudden bang, Sheng Nian instinctively grabbed Yan Feizhuo's arm and leaned his head toward his chest. Multicolored confetti drifted down from above, reflecting rainbow light in the sunshine, with glimpses of their intimate pose visible through the gaps.

After the Production Team's confetti cannon went off, Sheng Nian picked the confetti out of his hair and asked, "What's Shengyan now?"

The staff member said, "Haven't you two read the posts online? It's the ship name your shippers gave you."

Sheng Nian blinked. "He and I have shippers now?"

The staff member said, "It seems neither of you has a clear understanding of your chemistry yet. You're a hugely popular ship on the Star Network right now."

Yan Feizhuo's lips curved. "They have good taste."

[There you go enjoying yourself again!]

[We certainly do have good taste.]

"All right, all right, hurry up and tell us what this business about gathering seven Dragon Balls to summon the dragon actually is."

Sheng Nian had been curious for ages and quickly interrupted them to get back to the matter at hand.

The staff member said, "Let's get back to business, then."

"Team Shengyan has collected all seven pearls and placed first in this event, earning five Heart-Pounding Badges. At the same time, congratulations on unlocking Evernight Sky's mystery grand prize!"

"But before you can claim the mystery grand prize, you'll have to pass another test."

Sheng Nian asked, "What test?"

The staff member took two large buckets of prepared fish out from the counter behind them. "The test is..."

"Winning over Evernight Sky's crown prince!"

[What the hell do they mean, winning over the crown prince? What are they up to now?]

[The Production Team just keeps coming up with wild ideas.]

[Evernight Sky's crown prince? Could it be that...]

[That what? Don't leave us hanging!]

A few minutes later, aboard a small yacht.

Watching the orca frolicking in the distance, Sheng Nian pointed at the fish on the deck and asked, "By winning over Evernight Sky's crown prince, you meant feeding an orca!?"

The staff member nodded emphatically. "Tiger-Tiger is Evernight Sky's crown prince in every sense! If you can't win Tiger-Tiger over, the mystery grand prize will drop by one tier, so winning over the crown prince is very important!"

[Hahahaha, it really is Tiger-Tiger!]

[Hehe, pretty much anyone who's visited Evernight Sky's Sea Demon Castle knows, right?]

[Why?]

[I heard Evernight Sky's young boss rescued this orca on the beach. After being rescued, Tiger-Tiger didn't go looking for the pod, but settled in these waters instead, hanging around the young boss all day. Even the expensive fish in the marine ranch are just snacks for Tiger-Tiger. Raising Tiger-Tiger is like raising a son, so of course that makes Tiger-Tiger the crown prince.]

[Never thought I'd envy a whale one day. Even a whale has it better than me!]

Sheng Nian said excitedly, "I was just thinking about petting the orca back in the tunnel, and now the chance has come right to me!"

The staff member smiled. "Perfect, then. Let's head out."

The yacht cut through the waves and soon reached the open sea. The experienced pilot stopped some distance away, then sounded the horn to draw the orca over.

Tiger-Tiger approached with a long, drawn-out call. Discovering a boat full of strangers, the orca stopped some distance from the yacht, peeking furtively above and below the surface to observe them. When the boat started approaching, Tiger-Tiger even knew to back away, looking very clever.

Sheng Nian exclaimed, "So smart!"

A staff member aboard the yacht laughed. "The young boss spent ages teaching the crown prince not to accept food from strangers. Tiger-Tiger learned very well."

With that, the staff member called out someone from the marine ranch whom the orca knew to beckon Tiger-Tiger over.

Seeing a familiar person, the orca swished that big tail and, after making sure it was safe, charged happily toward the yacht.

"Tiger-Tiger! Tiger-Tiger!"

Sheng Nian watched the orca shoot over like a little cannonball, stop short in front of the yacht, and rub that big head insistently against the deck.

He walked over and tentatively stroked the orca's smooth, enormous head.

Tiger-Tiger tilted that head, seemingly still recognizing Sheng Nian from their playtime earlier, and let out soft, wheedling calls.

Thrilled, Sheng Nian dragged over the bucket of fish, picked out a piece, and fed it to Tiger-Tiger.

Free food was hard to resist, and Tiger-Tiger accepted every offering. After swallowing a large piece of fish, the orca immediately opened wide and leaned in again, looking utterly adorable.

Sheng Nian had no attention to spare for anything else, diligently taking fish from the bucket to feed the orca.

[Aaaaah, he actually got to touch a real orca! I specifically rented a boat to try to encounter one when I visited the island, and I still couldn't find one!]

[That is one seriously massive orca! That head takes up half the deck, and this is a small yacht...]

[...I just realized I'm a little afraid of huge things.]

Yan Feizhuo fed the orca a couple of bites too, then borrowed a DSLR from the staff and started snapping pictures of Sheng Nian.

The two buckets of fish were soon empty. Seeing there was no more food, Tiger-Tiger still refused to leave, frolicking around the yacht and interacting with everyone. The orca even demonstrated the leaping way of swimming learned from a pod of dolphins for Sheng Nian.

When dolphins leaped, they were graceful as an arching bridge, but when Tiger-Tiger leaped, countless splashes erupted like a bomb going off.

Sheng Nian wiped the water from his face, utterly delighted. "Tiger-Tiger really knows how to put on a show!"

The staff reminded him that their time was nearly up.

Sheng Nian called to the orca, "Tiger-Tiger, come here."

Hearing that name, the orca swam over. Sheng Nian hugged that big head one last time and gave it a kiss before saying goodbye.

When the yacht left, the orca followed for quite a distance, only swimming away once they drew closer and closer to shore.

Still incredibly excited aboard the yacht, Sheng Nian held on to Yan Feizhuo and chattered away.

"Tiger-Tiger is just too cute! How can such a big creature understand people so well..."

He babbled on endlessly, but Yan Feizhuo didn't find him annoying. Worried his throat would get dry, he even handed him some water. "I saw. I borrowed a DSLR and took lots of pictures of you. I'll send them all to you later."

"Really? I want to see!"

The two put their heads together and started looking through the photos.

The yacht headed toward the dock amid Sheng Nian's occasional criticisms of Yan Feizhuo's photography skills.
