Sheng Nian was leading the Morie Zerg in an assault on the Empire's power station. Once they took it out, the Empire's lasers, electromagnetic turrets, and one-fifth of its equipment would be rendered useless.
Naturally, such an important power station was well defended.
Even without the densely packed mecha soldiers surrounding the station, the dozen or so electromagnetic turrets in the distance, already activated and automatically targeting them, were intimidating enough.
Sheng Nian patted Yubao, who was sitting on his shoulder, and asked, "Yubao, are you saying the ground beneath those nuclear missile turrets is full of dormant Ghost Needle Anomalous Plant seeds?"
Yubao nodded firmly. "It's that nasty thing, all covered in thorns. Yubao doesn't like it."
Sheng Nian grew thoughtful. Anomalous Plants were highly territorial, a trait rooted in plants' natural drive to compete for water, sunlight, and land.
"Yubao, could we wake the Ghost Needles up and make them grow to maturity if we worked together?"
"Yubao doesn't want to share food with that nasty thing!"
Already used to the little one's personality, Sheng Nian coaxed him with practiced ease. "Be good, Yubao. We'll wake up those Ghost Needles and have them help us deal with those nasty turrets. Once the turrets are gone, dealing with the mecha soldiers will be much easier, right?"
"Yubao wouldn't want Daddy to have such a hard time either, would you?"
Yubao's two little rabbit ears drooped, and he agonized over it for a long time before saying, "All right, then~"
Sheng Nian tilted his head and gently nuzzled him. "Such a good boy~"
[Two of you are so cute!]
[I just want to know how much I'll have to spend to get a Yubao when I play this game!!]
[It's fine if there's no Yubao. Are there any other little
