In just a few minutes, the storm of public opinion spread from the livestream's comments to Starblog.
A user with the ID "When Will Sheng Nian Get Out of Showbiz" uploaded a video titled "A Rundown of Sheng 'Black Lotus' Nian's 'Good Deeds' Over the Years."
It included quite a few scenes of Sheng Nian losing his temper after He Gu deliberately provoked him, and the young man singing before him also appeared in it.
In the footage, the young man had been shabbily dressed and looked utterly distraught. In a daze, he bumped into Sheng Nian in front of him, making him stumble.
The sheet music he was holding scattered all over the floor. Sheng Nian was already unsteady from the collision, and when he stepped on the sheets, he fell.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to. Are you okay?"
The young man hurriedly helped him up, then apologized.
"-Ow! Are you blind? That hurt like hell."
The young man instinctively sniffled at his shouting, then continued apologizing. "I-I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to. I was so upset today that I wasn't watching where I was going."
Even after the young man apologized, Sheng Nian refused to let it go and kept berating him for a long time. His insults were repetitive, either accusing the young man of being blind or saying things like, "I haven't even cried yet, so why are you pulling such a long face?"
But the young man's expression visibly worsened until he eventually began to cry.
The video ended there.
However one looked at the video, Sheng Nian seemed like a villain who refused to let someone off even when he was in the right. After all, he had bullied the young man to tears.
